American Timber Frame Houses Ltd can offer the added benefit of supply and install the timber frame structure on site which allows the customer to make alterations to there dream home up to the day the house is actually being built. This is very popular with the single one off house builder. With the best of intensions, it is very difficult for the home builder reading the house plans to visually see the size of each room until the house is constructed. At this stage it very difficult to make alterations if it is a timber panel construction. This process takes two weeks to construct. The home builder benefits and is happier that they have the choice to make minor changes to the internal room layout prior to installing the internal walls. 

If the wall panel system are made in a controlled factory environment. The concrete slab is not built exactly to the drawings and modifications have to be made to a timber frame panels on site. This can give the whole purpose of building a house in a controlled factory environment a major problem. Alot of time can be wasted at this stage depending on what modifications are required to sort out the problem.

The solution is simple. Measure the actual base slab and build the house to those exact dimensions. If the base is not built exactly to the drawings, we can build the house on it regardless. This is without doubt the most practical and logical approach to building any structure.

This is why we can guarantee to get it right first time - every time. A typical 2000 sq foot home takes about 10 working days to complete. Our structural engineer make regular visits throughout the fabrication and erecting process to ensure compliance with building and structural regulations.
