• Aerothermal heating: releasing the energy in the air!
The outside air is a free and inexhaustible source of energy, even when at low temperatures in winter. Aerothermal heating is a means of capturing this free energy in the air and transforming it into useable heat for the home by means of a heat pump.
|
• An aerothermal heating system comprises air collectors outside the house, a heating circuit inside the house (underfloor heating, radiators, fan coils), and a heat pump linking the two circuits.

Air Source Heat Pumps: Atmos, the air/water heat pump
• Atmos, Sofath®'s air/water solution, can be installed anywhere, regardless of plot constraints. This system captures the energy present in the outside air and can operate in temperatures as low as -15°C.
• Heat is transferred by the refrigerant circulating in the air collector installed outside the house (either wall-mounted or floor standing) and a hydraulic distribution circuit inside the house
|
• Heat is taken from outside air via a battery, inside which the refrigerant circulates.
• Useable heat is transmitted inside the house by means of a hydraulic distribution system: underfloor heating, network of radiators (maximum temperature: 47°C), or any other system that uses water as a mean of conducting heat.
