FernGreen Renewable Energy Centre is an ait-tight, A Rated Timber Frame built on site to bespoke design. The building is constructed using all renewable products, it is an airtight building, Spray foam insulated, even down to using recycled slates, heat recovery system, under floor heating, powered by a wind turbine, solar panel system and bio-fuels. Our new office and showrooms can be viewed here  

      A stand-alone energy cabin solution is offered to homeowners who may be restricted to space inside their dwelling. The unit is capable of holding the boiler, 3 tonne of wood pellet, solar panels (on the roof) and mechanical equipment for the space heating system. The cabin and will be positioned south facing to maximize efficiency on the site.

  We are the sole installers of wind turbines for Hanley Energy in the south of Ireland as well as Wizz water heating turbines.  All products we carry are EU certified Click here for Grid Connected and domestic hot water turbines

Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is harnessed from resources like the sun or wind power and therefore cannot be depleted. Renewable energy is different from fossil fuels, as it does not produce CO2 emissions.

Traditional uses of renewable energy by way of wind, water, and solar energy are being used more commonly in the western world and developing countries in Africa .

Electricity production using renewable energy has become much greater recently.
The more use of renewable energy reflects the major threat of climate change due to pollution, and the knowledge that fossil fuels will be exhausted in our life time, if not our Children’s. 
 

Sources of Renewable Energy
Renewable energy flows come from sunlight, wind, tides and geothermal heat. Each of these renewable energy sources influences how and where they are used. The majority of renewable energy get their energy from the Sun. Solar energy is also used by hydroelectric power plants, and for the creation of biofuels or green energy and with Up to 5 MW of power being produced by wind turbines business ‘owners are seeing the benefits of renewable energy and are converting in large numbers.
